We recently downsized from our large family home to a smaller house. Despite getting rid of over 50% of a lifetime of accumulated “stuff”, we still had 552 boxes to unpack which I found completely overwhelming even before we came to move in!
On a friend’s recommendation, I booked 2 helpers from TGCO for 3 days. I can honestly say it was the best decision I made in the whole moving process as well as being the best value for money. Quite apart from being completely fantastic at creating order from the chaos, Jade and Natalie were cheerful, calm and encouraging throughout the horrendous 3 days of boxes arriving. Nothing phased them ( it was 35 degrees the week we moved in) and by the time we reached the end of the 3 days, between us we had pretty much unpacked and sorted the whole house in a way I have never been so organised. It way exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend them more highly for their professionalism and capable approach to the task. I will definitely be rebooking them to come back when we reorganise our summer/winter clothes. They just took the stress out of the whole ordeal for me for which I shall be forever grateful!

When I booked Nicola, I wasn’t sure how I could achieve an organised space in such a small flat: I live in under 60 square metres with very little storage and I’m reluctant to throw things out. I also have a bit of a shopping problem…
However, NOTHING fazes Nicola; she relishes a challenge! My little two bedroom flat has been thoroughly TGCOd and crucially its has stayed that way! Triumphs include the rainbow organised swimwear solutions (makes me smile every time), a ‘drinks station’, being able to actually see and use the products in my bathroom (I have not bought any new problems in the 9 months since, inspire of throwing out an entire bag of potions) and ready packed travelling cases (packing now takes me less than half the time). I had previously been bad at throwing things away, remembering the money spent on excess bits and pieces. However, instead of throwing things away, bags went to better homes. I also sold enough of my things to pay for her day rate!
The difference this has made to my life has been incredible; I really did not anticipate how a more organised and less cluttered space would help my mindset. Nicola truly cares about her clients. She is a great listening ear and really appreciates that each client has a different life with different requirements. Not once did I feel as though I was getting rid of things that I wanted to keep hold of. She has become a wonderful friend and I would recommend her to anyone.
The motivation and feel-good factor should not be underestimated: I can honestly say I had some of the best days of my year with her – her energy is infectious and she is just so kind. What’s more, my outlook has changed; I’m so much better at realising what I just don’t need now.

Nicola came in to declutter and organise my teenage daughter’s bedroom! This is no doubt one of the jobs I dread more than any other! Nicola to the rescue! No teenage strops! No mummy daughter arguments! Nicola took over, and as a mother herself, knew exactly how to handle the situation. Calm and collected, she sat and discussed what my daughter would like her room to look like! What she felt was causing the MESS!?! What the priorities were! Within a morning her bedroom has been cleared! Bags for charity, recycling and selling emerged! Nicola recommended some new storage for books and school work! Which my daughter paid for from the funds she made from selling some of her bags and clothing! Can’t thank Nicola enough! I’m looking forward to her tackling the next project in my house!
Nicola is definitely the girl that can organise ANYTHING! I work in a very logistical job and I am super organised… a little OCD in my work but I struggle to find the energy to be that organised at home!
